Alsharq KaanTextile is a leading manufacturer of high-quality carpets and textiles with a strong presence in the Egyptian and international markets. Founded in 2015 in Egypt, the company has grown over the past decade into a respected name in the global textile industry, exporting to more than 70 countries. From the beginning, our mission has been to blend time-honored craftsmanship with modern design and technology — a commitment to quality and innovation that guides everything we weave today.

The first looms
Alsharq Kaan Textile starts weaving machine-made carpets in the 10th of Ramadan industrial zone, Sharqia.
- 2017
Factory expansion
A second plant and new Van de Wiele looms more than double capacity, and the velvet line is added.

More than 500 employees, over 2,000 designs and customers in more than 70 countries.
Two plants
Carpets and velvet under one name
Carpets: Van de Wiele face-to-face looms, shearing, latex back-coating and overlock finishing, cutting to size and packing.
Velvet: a second line of looms weaves velvet in standard sizes and runners, with its own finishing line.
How we work
Quality first
Every roll is inspected before it leaves the plant. Yarn is tested on arrival, and each loom run is checked against the approved sample.

We take pride in delivering high-quality products at competitive prices, always on the agreed date.
Design in house
Our studio draws new designs every week and adapts any design to your size, colours and quality.
